At Architectural Sign Group (ASG), we partnered with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to deliver comprehensive signage solutions for the Hicksville LIRR Station. This project included both exterior identification signage and full interior wayfinding and directional systems, tailored specifically for the transit environment of a high-traffic commuter rail station.

Our scope of work on this station included:
Custom-fabricated aluminum and steel identification panels mounted on the station façade and within common areas, engineered for high visibility and durability under heavy usage and variable weather conditions.
Directional signage throughout the station interior, featuring bold typographic design, high-contrast finishes, and a clear hierarchy of wayfinding components to guide passengers efficiently between platforms, exits, ticketing and other amenities.
Full project engagement from concept through installation: including design development, shop drawings, fabrication in our dedicated facility, logistics coordination for site installation, and on-site supervision to ensure seamless integration with the station’s structure and daily operations.
Compliance with transit-industry standards for materials, mounting, accessibility, and longevity—ensuring the signage system not only looks professional but performs reliably in a transportation hub scenario.
This project reinforces ASG’s depth of expertise in transit signage systems, station-identity solutions, and large-scale architectural signage installations that enhance user experience and strengthen brand identity in public infrastructure.
