Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Long Island Rail Road – East Hampton Station
Project type
Transit Signage | Fabrication | Installation | Design | Project Management, Transit Signage Design & Installation NYC
Location
Long Island / East Hamptons Station
At Architectural Sign Group (ASG), we were contracted to provide comprehensive signage solutions for the East Hampton Station of the Long Island Rail Road — delivering both exterior identification and interior directional signage systems designed specifically for a transit environment.
Our scope included:
Custom-fabricated aluminum identification panels and exterior signage mounted to the station façade, engineered for visibility in all lighting conditions and built to withstand the coastal environment of East Hampton.
Precision-designed directional and wayfinding signage within the station, using high-contrast typographic elements, durable finishes and clear hierarchies to guide commuters efficiently to platforms, ticketing and exits.
Full project management from concept through installation: including design development, shop drawings, material selection, fabrication in our skilled shop, logistics coordination and on-site mounting with minimal disruption to station operations.
Collaboration with station architects and MTA standards to ensure signage met all performance, durability and accessibility criteria required for heavy-use rail infrastructure.
This project reinforces ASG’s expertise in transit signage, wayfinding systems, and large-scale architectural identity installations—delivered with precision, durability and a focus on commuter experience.
